The following stage is to have the painting supplies ready, including “rollers” and “masking” after choosing the color to use. Select a tool based on its intended use, such as one for direct painting or one for covering up areas you don’t want to paint.
1. Masking
Protective adhesive paper tape, also known as curing tape, is used to mark the boundary between sections that will be painted and those that won’t in order to keep them clean. Due to its weak adhesiveness, the paint may leak from a small gap caused by dust or wrinkles, therefore after pasting, press down firmly with your finger to ensure it is firmly attached.
2. Masker
Taped vinyl sheet. It shields against stains like paint splashes by spreading the sheet out and laying the masking tape 2 to 3 mm outside. Paint buckets and brushes can also be protected from drying out with it.
3. Roller + handle
When painting broad or flat surfaces like walls and bench seats, it is employed. Use a roller with medium-length to medium-long bristles that is approximately 6 inches long when applying Colorworks paint for a good finish.
4. Adjust handle
It becomes incredibly simple to work in high spots close to the ceiling by attaching to the roller handle.
5. Brush
It is used to paint tiny spaces that a roller cannot reach, such furniture gaps and the edges and corners of walls. It is simple to alter the size and type depending on the location and application.
6. paint bucket & net
A unique paint bucket with a net that makes it possible to control how much paint is applied to the roller. Let’s fill this bucket with paint to about one-third of its height.
7. Can opener
It’s convenient to open a paint can’s lid. If you don’t have one, a flathead screwdriver will work to open it.
8. Waste cloth
Perfect for dusting and removing paint. Use a rag or ripped up underpants or an old T-shirt as an alternative.
9. Sandpaper
Before painting, it is used as a basic treatment, mostly to smooth out the surface of wooden items and take old paint off of furniture that has already been made. Depending on the purpose, the mesh can range from 180 to 240 microns in coarseness.
